State of Gaga

Lady Gaga is one of the most if not the most eccentric pop star in the United States. Her brand of music and personality accompanied with it creates an image of a very unconventional figure.

So a state that would resemble Gaga would be characterized as being irregular. This would be very problematic for the world order. The State of Gaga in realist terms would spawn anarchy and in liberal terms be very illiberal.

Because Gaga has demonstrated outlandish behaviour, countries would always be on high alert should the State of Gaga decide to anything irregular. Irregularity would be the modus operandi of the State of Gaga; therefore, states would be in perpetual alarm of the State of Gaga. This would force the U.S and other powers to try to contain Gaga and her perceived machinations. The balance of power would not be maintainable and would threaten the U.S’s status as a status-quo power. This would force a strong reaction from all powers in the world order.

Lady Gaga has also demonstrated a bold disregard for societal standards. This translates into the State of Gaga being an un-democratic society. Lady Gaga would exercise supreme and arbitrary power over her state. Her capricious whims would lead the State of Gaga into instability.

The State of Gaga will never exist in harmony with the rest of the world. Therefore, a swift and concerted effort by the world order will force the State of Gaga into disintegration.

  1. I agree with your post Raheem. A Lady Gaga state would be irregular, and other states would probably not trust the state.

I do like your point about how a Gaga state would be an undemocratic society. I personally believed that she would have a democratic society because of how liberal she is. I never thought about the idea of her having all the control of a state when writing my blog post.
